Beyond the mundane discussions of political strategies, outrage and confusion there is a voice in the wilderness, like a lighthouse shining out through a storm on the sea..Thanissara!

I am engaged, motivated and inspired to wield my own light saber of truth as I read your discerning and instinctive voice. My feelings feel more organized, empowered and consolidated every time I tune in to your message.

Thank you so much for this post. I look forward to your posts and share them with my community. It seems to me that you and Lama Rod Owens are the only two meditation teachers with such a deep grasp on both the relative and the absolute right now. 10,000 people protested in Raleigh, NC on April 5 and we are planning April 19 for Halifax Mall at 11 am.

I am so grateful for your wisdom, vision and great heart Thanissara. Thank you. Your Dhamma sharing is like an oasis in the desert. It must be very hard to be where you are now. And the UK is also a place of appalling and dismaying disconnect and denial of harsh realities. I am studying history as Dhamma these days and opening to the immensity of all the harm that has/is been done, the trauma and the karmic momentum of it all playing out. Wishing you a blessed retreat time. And a belated happy birthday to you.

A deep bow of gratitude for these encouraging words. I was at the demonstration in Kingston NY today where a crowd of thousands crammed a small green in the center of town to say HANDS OFF!!! Thank you for placing it in the context of our practice. 🙏🙏🙏

Wonderful you could make the demo in NY - we're still on the month retreat, and offered 21 Great Compassion Mantras in support - great day all round!
